Florian Schmitz
Florian Schmitz works as a producer, filmmaker, DJ and music producer. He studied film as well as German and French literature at the University of Cologne and completed a postgraduate degree at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne with a focus on screenwriting and directing. Florian produced his feature debut 'Arme Ritter' ('Poor Knights' | 71 min) in 2018. His films have been screened at festivals such as Hof International Film Festival, achtung berlin Film Festival and Festival Max Ophüls Prize in Saarbrücken. His short film 'le pré du mal' was part of the German Films Next Generation Short Tiger selection in 2022.
Till Gombert
Till Gombert is a producer, filmmaker and film curator. He studied film and media art at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe and continued his postgraduate studies at Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln, graduating with his diploma film 'Rough and Smooth'. He directs narrative films with a realistic approach as well as experimental works. His work has been selected for numerous festivals, including the Beijing International Short Film Festival, European Film Festival Szczecin, Stuttgarter Filmwinter and Oscar-qualifying festivals as Tirana International Film Festival and In the Palace International Film Festival.
